Automechanika supports the World Skills Championships
The best auto body repairmen from Europe, Asia, the USA and Australia will meet for this year’s World Skills Championships in London from October 5 - 8, 2011.
For the second time, Automechanika is supporting World Skills in cooperation with the German Federation of Body and Automotive Engineering, Honda Germany, Car-O-Liner Germany and Mirka Schleifmittel. “Basic and advanced training is an important subject area at Automechanika and primarily takes the form of special presentations and demonstrations. Given the enormous interest in this subject area, especially in the field of classic-car restorations, we want to concentrate our efforts in this connection even better at the next Automechanika from September 11 - 16, 2012”, says Olaf Musshoff, Automechanika Director.

APRA’s Remanufacturing Pavilion
APRA will have a “Remanufacturing Pavilion” at Automechanika Shanghai so that remanufacturers, and other suppliers to remanufacturers can be located in one location to exhibit their products and services.
“The worldwide remanufacturing industry is growing rapidly because people are becoming more aware of it’s environmental contributions, it’s reduction of one’s carbon footprint and it’s contributions to helping customers extend product life of useful capital goods”, says Bill Gager of APRA. China has some great possibilities as they begin to grow their remanufacturing industry.

In 2012, Automechanika Moscow will increase in size and move to the Expocenter Krasnaya Presnya due to the popularity of the show. Next year’s show will be taking place August 27-29. Be sure to submit your application early.
This year, exhibitors from 32 countries will present their latest technologies at the upcoming Automechanika Moscow powered by MIMS. The trade show will occupy more than 30,000 sqm (322,917 sq. feet) and will open its doors for the expected 60,000 professionals from all over Russia and CIS.

The 13th edition of PAACE Automechanika Mexico returned to Centro Banamex in Mexico City, July 13 - 15, 2011 with the highest international presence in its history. Hundreds of exhibitors from more than 24 countries showcased their latest products and services in Mexico and Central America’s most important international trade show for the automotive aftermarket.

Automechanika Middle East, June 7 - 9, 2011
Automechanika Middle East once again broke all its records, enjoying 1,102 exhibitors from 52 countries and an impressive 17,421 trade visitors from over 120 countries spanning 8 halls. The three day exhibition was a big success and both visitors and exhibitors expressed great satisfaction with the quality of the event. The show saw an 18% increase in overall size and a near 9% increase in trade visitors. 31 international trade associations and 21 official country pavilions supported this year's event.
